Use Spreadsheet::ParseExcel to extract data and
Spreadsheet::WriteExcel to write in back to Excel format.<br>
Note that this works on *.xls files, not *.xlsx files - there is
active development on the latter, but not all the pieces are there
yet.<br>
Use Win32::OLE if you want to manipulate an Excel file on Windows
using the installed Excel application through Perl.<br>
