The animated gif captcha is headache-inducingly difficult to read
(and very annoying to have on a page while your figuring out how to
submit a form).<br>
Also a bot trying to crack it will just yank a frame from the
animated gif and OCR that. Or even better, line-up and diff the
frames for easier character recognition.<br>
