 The first one (Perl 5.8.4) is the one which comes with Solaris 10:
    usethreads=undef use5005threads=undef useithreads=undef usemultiplicity=undef

The second one is one 5.8.8 compiled by our system group:
    usethreads=undef use5005threads=undef useithreads=undef usemultiplicity=undef
