[Israel.pm] Tk: requested size of a widget?

when i worked with tcl/tk, i always used the 'pack' command to pack
objects together. i never used fixed sizes - just the expand and fill
attributes of pack-ing objects. there was no flicker when drawing the
windows, as far as i remember.
