[Israel.pm] How to access a *.mdb file without a dsn??

Hello,
I am building a site for a school project in ASP and I am trying to 
access the *.mdb file
with perl because I want to run some regexp before displaying or 
entering the data
but the problem is I cant find how to access the file without a DSN 
witch I don't have :-(
and another problem is how to insert and display the date?
