Hi,
The best source for service control (and other win32 admin tasks) is in
Tim Roth site http://www.roth.net/. Although you can manage without his
books I recommend on them as a good tool for win32 admin tasks in Perl.
I managed to create a full features service using the relevant Win32
modules according to his examples, and it works flawlessly. The only
problem is the additional Perl process which exists.
