A note: Sometimes people want to "binarize" their scripts only to
prevent the customer from tampering. This solution is:
 * ineffective: Because binary executables may be manipulated.
 * unnecessary: You may simply md5sum or gpg sign the code. Any change
   would be noticed (and you may condition the SLA on that).

Of course if your goal in binarization is to "hide" the code, than your
options are much more limited as shown by others (my random signature
suddenly look very relevant :-)
