Hi all,
One of the things the YAPC organizers would like to have at this YAPC
is a beginner's track. As a way to get the ball rolling, here is the
Table of Contents for "Learning Perl", 3rd edition:
http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/lperl3/toc.html

Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to select one of the
chapters (or a sub-heading from a chapter, depending on your lecture
length) and submit a lecture proposal for that subject.
For example, one person can give a lightning talk (5 minutes) about
"Getting User Input"; another can give an hour's lecture about "Lists
and Arrays".

Remember, lecturers get free entrance to the conference (1), and the
chance to practice their public speaking skills while contributing to
the community - so register now!

Please send idea, comments and questions to this list and/or to:
{yapc-organizers}(AT)[perl.org.il]

(1) Free entrance is for lecturers with a cumulative lecture time of
30 minutes or longer.

Regards,
