[Israel.pm] Problem timing-out a system command when script runs in the background

Thanks for your answer, this is something that I will always keep in mind.

I'm using v5.6.1 for this specific task (I know, I know, it's old).
Does your solution also regard this version?
Otherwise, what else might cause the problem?
