This is perl, v5.8.3 built for ppc-darwin-thread-multi
Home cooked, ofcourse. The vendor default yields:
[eris:~] nothingmuch% perl5.8.1 -e 'print int 100*4.56, "\n"'
This is perl, v5.8.1-RC3 built for darwin-thread-multi-2level
(with 1 registered patch, see perl -V for more detail)
My gentoo died recently, and i haven't had the time to fix it, so i
can't tell you what 5.8.2 built for powerpc-linux-unknown-gnu will say.
However, I did get some scsi disks in the mail today, two very old boxen
may go back to service now.
