[Perl] openinig Telnet Session

hello all,

I have a problem and i ant to know if it can be done in perl.
The thing is that I want to open a telnet session on a router
by prompting a program and it will get me into the router and let me
work on it, as if I did a manual telnet.

Can it be done?
